I sort of got my condo association to approve my EV install, however they send me 1 stupid requirement I was hoping they would skip over:
(C) Within 14 days of approval, provide a certificate of insurance that names the association as an additional insured under the owner's insurance policy in the amount set forth in paragraph. **Please provide a copy of proof of insurance for the Board to review during the second review scheduled on December 12, 2013)** **(3) The owner and each successive owner of the charging station, at all times, shall maintain a homeowner liability coverage policy in the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000), and shall name the association as a named additional insured under the policy with a right to notice of cancellation.**
I called Geico to set this up, but they said they can't name my association under the policy or give them notice of cancellation. Does anyone have experience setting this up? I'm hoping to show proof to my association and they will approve it, but I'm not sure.
