Charging stopped due to system malfunction

Funny thing happened. While connecting the probes, the pins touching ENCA and ENCB got shorted and I got check ev system light and wheels did not move. I guess this is expected?

Yeah, you killed the encoder signal (scrambled), the inverter lost track of where the rotor was, and signaled a fault. If you had looked at TPD right then (not after turning off the car), you may have seen a DTC.
