Using a leaf charger

I think I read somewhere here that a portable leaf evse wont work on our rav4.
Is this true? If so, is there a mod to make it work?

Iv'e been seeing some popup on ebay for about $180 and thought if I bought one I could have it upgraded........as long as it works that is.

I was told by EVSEUpgrade that the 2011-12 Nissan Leaf charger will not work with the Rav4 EV. (even the upgraded one).
I have them both, and never tried to see what would've happen : )

The 2011-2012 Nissan LEAF (Panasonic) portable charge cable will NOT work with Tesla powered cars:

Tesla Roadster
Tesla Model S
Tesla Model X
2012-2014 Toyota RAV4 EV
2014 - newer Mercedes B-Class ED / B250e


The 2013 and newer Nissan LEAF (Panasonic) will work.

Far better to just get what you need than to fiddle with this trying to save money because you won't.
