SCE has started their Clean Fuel Rebate program. They are late to the party. PG&E and SDG&E started theirs earlier this year. These programs are funded by the Low Carbon Fuel Standard. The utilities provide "transportation fuel" to plug-in cars, so they get to collect these credits. They must redistribute these funds, so each utility came up with a rebate program to disburse these funds.
If you have a residential electric account with So Cal Edison and have an eligible plug-in vehicle registered to the same address, you can get a $450 rebate.
