I'm thinking about buying a RAV4 prime. I'm unsure whether an all-electric or PHEV would be more suitable for my needs. I primarily drive in the city but occasionally take long trips.

Thank you for your advice!

It depends on what your want really...for city driving with occasional long trips, a PHEV like the RAV4 Prime could be a good balance....you’ll benefit from the electric range for daily commutes, while the gas engine covers longer journeys. If charging is convenient for you, then an all-electric vehicle could work, but the PHEV offers more flexibility for those trips IMO

@Riley12 highlights the versatility of a PHEV like the RAV4 Prime. With access to charging for daily city commutes, you can utilize the electric range and potentially reduce fuel expenses. Additionally, the gas engine offers reassurance for longer journeys, eliminating concerns about locating charging stations en route. Nevertheless, if you favor the simplicity of an all-electric vehicle and have dependable charging access, that could be an excellent choice as well. The decision ultimately depends on your preferences and charging convenience. Good luck with your choice, @Garma!
