I have the LCS-25 unit at home. Used it once and it is very louder compared to the three public chargers I've used so far, all of which were ClipperCreek public chargers. My home unit makes a very loud buzzing sound that is audible at the charge unit in the garage and was also pretty loud outside at the car. I'll call ClipperCreek tomorrow and ask their tech person, but wondering if anyone here using the LCS-25 has noticed that.... is it normal for this unit?
More info, I have a 6 foot dryer plug connected to the LCS in a junction box.

Out of curiosity, how does the LCS-25 work with the Rav's timer? I also use a 20 amp EVSE and I think the Rav thinks it's a 120V EVSE - It'd be interesting to check whether the Rav thinks any 20 amp or less EVSE is 120v or if it's something peculiar about mine. Please try it out if you haven't yet.

When you plug in a 240V EVSE like the Leviton 40A unit I have, the 120V charging time on the dashboard display disappears, leaving only the time to charge on 240V. So, if the car is treating it as 120V, it should still display that value.

Haven't tried yet. Hopeful that a software update is on the way...

There's a software update out now that's supposed to address charging timing issues but it apparently doesn't do much if anything, so I wouldn't hold your breath for a worthwhile update.
