Rav4 EV for sale, POST HERE ONLY

Hi guys, I am in Maryland and have had my RAV since last summer. It has been great, I have not had a single issue with the car. It has just over 12,000 miles on it. I am about to start a new job and my wife and I will be commuting to work together. I am looking to see if anyone is interested...

Dealers who will service the RAV4EV not in CA

Hi there, I live in Montgomery County, MD and I have a RAV. I called before I bought mine as well and asked if they would service the car. They said they have to service every Toyota. I am still skeptical that they will, especially if corporate is not paying them for services rendered. I have...

Toyota Sees Underwhelming Future for All Electric Cars

My first reaction to this was to sell my RAV. Even though I knew Toyota was not really on board with electrics (hence RAV being only a compliance car). The only thing stopping me is that there aren't that many great EV's right now. I guess I'll look at the i3 and B-class, still seems that the...

    Entune Refresh

I don't think the location will update until the car is turned on again. If it is being shipped on a truck and has not been turned on, the location finder will not update.

    200 Mile Club (321.9km) & 300km Club (186.4 mile)

The furthest I have gone is 134.6 miles, SOC showed 24 left. Once I knew I would make it home easily, I put it into sport mode. Driving was a mix of local roads and highway. I felt like I could get 150 for sure. If i knew how to post a pic here, I could post it. EM

When can we buy the Rav4 EV on the east coast?

Hi there, I am also an out of state owner. I live in MD. If you want to check it out I will be at the National Plug in Day event in College, Park MD. Or you can see it almost every weekend at the mall in Tyson's Corner, VA charging in the Tesla spots, as I work at the mall on the weekends. I...

Wow! Can't wait to try it out. I will probably have the EVSE before the car though.

The advertised lease rates are always low. They do not include taxes and fees. It will be up to you, do you want to pay in the mid $300's with $3k or $4k down or pay in the mid to low $400's with zero down?

Hey there, I believe the reference to "keep (our) own money?" means that you do not have to put any money down on the lease. Instead of putting down $3k or $4k, you just use the Toyota money as your cap. reduction money. In effect it can work as a zero down lease. Eric

    A couple of charging questions

Hello All, I am a week or so out from receiving my RAV and I had a couple of questions: 1. Does the RAV lock the EVSE while charging? 2. Are the amps adjustable like in the Model S? Thank you, Eric

I have looked at the Levinton unit as well, it is my preferred one if I cannot get a more mobile solution. Do you think this unit is a good option if I have to plug and unplug it daily?

    Tesla model S UMC with J1772 & JESLA(tm) conversion

I would be interested in it, even at a premium, but add me to the list anyway. Right now I charge my EV with the Upgraded LEAF unit. As we know, it does not work with the RAV. I park outside in a townhouse parking lot and need to be able to disconnect the EVSE. I am mainly interested in the...

    Tesla model S UMC with J1772 & JESLA(tm) conversion

This sounds like a wonderful idea. It would be an ideal charging solution for me, but I am not sure if I can wait long enough to see it happen. I'm looking for the best mobile charging solution.

Hello Rav4 EV owners, I am in Maryland and have been following the forum here since last November. I decided to take the plunge recently. I have a Think City that I just sold. Hopefully I will get the RAV in a couple of weeks. I had been charging my Think with an upgraded 2012 Leaf unit. I...

    East Coast RAV4 EV possible?

I appreciate the feedback. I currently use the Nissan Leaf Upgraded EVSE for L2, so that wouldn't work with the RAV4. I currently have a Think City. The incentives being offered on the RAV right now really drew my attention. Sure, even a 40KWH Model S would be great, but at this point it is a...

    East Coast RAV4 EV possible?

I followed the thread about out of state purchases, do you fellas think it is possible for an East Coaster to get one? I did call two local Toyota dealers and ask if they could provide service for the new electric RAV4, they said yes. I was a little concerned because they answered yes very...
