I just ordered both pieces to avoid any backorder issues. If we don't get to 10 in a few months, I'm also willing to pay a premium. Now I have to learn about RV parks so I can get any other jumpers I may need to get a full set.
Tony, do you have a link to one of your posts that lists where to get the most useful addaptors?
To anybody on the fence, if you buy this product and don't like it, I suspect it will be easy to sell to 2600 other Rav4 EV drivers in the future. Obviously, it will still work with any Tesla product with an readily available adapter.
For folks with both Rav4 EV and Model S, this is the best combination that can be used on both cars.
I don't have a list of useful non-Tesla adaptors for this combination. What we need is a way to manage the amps before we start putting non-Tesla adaptors on. Yes, I'm working on that.
So far, the Tesla adaptors are:
...................................VOLTS / AMPS.....kW
NEMA 5-15 ........Standard Outlet 110 V / 12 A... 1.4 kW
NEMA 14-50......RVs and Campsites 240 V / 40 A... 10 kW
NEMA 6-50 ........Welding Equipment 240 V / 40 A... 10 kW
NEMA 10-30......Older Dryers 240 V / 24 A... 5.8 kW
NEMA 14-30......Newer Dryers 240 V / 24 A... 5.8 kW
