For those in Los Angeles who don't know this, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (Hope & Temple, downtown Los Angeles) has free EV parking and charging for up to 4 hours. There are 10 spots and rarely is there a problem finding one. They even have 5 spots for employees only. The EVSEs are Clipper Creek and Leviton, all running at 40 amps.
Today I pulled in and charged for 3 hours while attending to some work downtown. When I returned, I spotted what I thought was my ride (silver with paper plates from Carson Toyota) and walked up to it. I hit the key fob and nothing happened. Then I remembered that I had just put on the real plates two days ago.
I've had the RAV almost two weeks, and this was my first sighting of another in the wild.
