Has anyone replaced shocks/struts? are there any better options than oem toyota parts?
Good morning Jacob. Amazon says those part #'s won't fit my 2013 Rav4EV. Thoughts? Thank you.Hello, here at Konduit EV we use the KYB struts. The part numbers are KYB 339032 and KYB 339031. These aren't the full assemblies so you will have to remove the shock springs and put them on the new struts. Be careful if you go this route as compressing the spring is dangerous and if done incorrectly can cause serious injury. Hope this helps.

Thanks for this Al. Very much appreciated.1) The Amazon (and eBay) systems of verifying what fits what is junk; it works for maybe 80% of common vehicles, but is notoriously wrong -- read the reviews on Amazon for various parts and you'll see many, many complaints of "Amazon said it'd fit, but . . . ".
2) Our 2012-14 RAV4 EV isn't built on the RAV4 platform that the ICE version uses.
In '12 the RAV4 ICE version went to a completely new Gen4 chassis, XA40, while the EV version continued to use a lightly modified version of the Gen3 XA30, the QAE38, for three more years.
So, many chassis parts for the older ICE version (2005-11) fit our EVs, but if you try to use parts lookup systems, if you're lucky our car isn't listed at all; if you're unlucky, it'll tell you bogus info instead.
