Hi, I bought this 2012 Toyota RAV4 EV at an auction. Only 83k miles. I paid $5300 for it. I knew nothing about EV before I bought this. It runs and drives good. It had no charger so I tried to charge it at a public charge station as I live in San Francisco CA. It started to charge but then stopped.

So I bought this charger on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7VLNPJS?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1 . When I plug it in same thing. Started to charge then the dash cluster says not charging system malfunction.

There are little lights in the back window near the charge port the front light flashes about 7 times and then both lights flash about 18 times then it stops. After reading these threads I realize the common issues with these vehicles. I ordered a coolant delete kit and two fuses. I plan too simply replace the fuses and see if that fixes the problem. With out any diagnosis. I dont own a pc laptop for the alflash guy to help me.

My question for this community is: Can I simply replace the on board charger with one I found on Ebay rather than replace the fuses?

Here is one I found on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2766968059...TFFGjY5nN8uRdyd93C1+U2558uA=|tkp:BFBM-POCyq1l

Questions:
Do you think its the fuses or the on board charger itself?
How can I determine with out buying a new laptop cable etc?
How can I do an ohm test on the charge port? I see a picture of ohms on a thread but does that mean they should be that way if good or do those ohms indicate its bad?

Unrelated question about the coolant delete. Couldn't I just crimp off the coolant hose before the hub? Or put some sort of plug in the hose?

I tried to post a video of the lights but the file is too big.

I would be very grateful and thankful for any help.
