EV Service at any Toyota dealer?

Hello All-

Have people been able to take their EV's to non-EV certified dealers for service?

I noticed in the disclosure document, it says that all service needs to be done by a certified EV dealer, but then I've read here in the forum that Toyota honors its warrantee work at any dealer (and has to?). Is that true?

The only time I took mine in was for the 5k check up. I asked them if they could do repairs to my Rav if it ever needed it, they said they will cross that bridge when they get to it. They side stepped my question.
