I see a lot of post with folks detailing their vehicle is number 2100 or 15 or such and such
how do I know what number my car is?

Usually the last 4 digits of the VIN code are indicated.

no, the numbers started somewhere after 1,000. The highest VINs are around 3500 and around 2,500 cars were made. The actual figures are floating around here somewhere.
