Returning to find my Rav4 EV unlocked and "READY"

Twice now my Rav4 EV was unlocked and in the "Ready" state after locking it.

At first I thought I'd accidentally left it unlocked but then it happened again yesterday only this time it was outside my work and I saw the tail lights come on (the remote was in my desk drawer) the only difference being that it was plugged in.

Both instances happened between 5:30pm and 6:00pm

Is there some way that it could be programed to power up without the keyless remote?
Anyone else experience this?

i had two similar situations but both times I thought they were user error. I will have to keep an eye on this.
