Question regarding carpool stickers

I( Actually my wife) purchased a RAV4EV last month and i am in the process of applying carpool stickers. the problem is she has out of state driving license but the California carpool application requires DL number. can i just enter other state DL number ( I think it will not work). Is there a way i can apply for carpool stickers.

You can just call the DMV and ask, or she can just submit the application with the $8 fee and see what happens. The worse that can happen is they may reject the application and return your check uncashed.

Only way to pull that off is if she is in the military on deployment to CA. If you are living in CA, you have 14 days to get a CA license.

But if the car is registered in CA, just give the out of state license number and see what happens.

Or give them your DL #.
