Nissan battery replacement program

Interesting development for Leaf owners. The Tesla press conference scheduled for tonite where Musk will demonstrate quick swap battery packs for the Model S suggests Tesla may not go this route.

Thanks! I hadn't seen the ABG article until now.

I had only seen the thread at http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13331. The announcement raised a ton of questions. Chelsea Sexton (part of the advisory group that Nissan appointed her to lead) answered some of them: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=303828#p303828.

There are still lots of unanswered questions so I hope Nissan publishes an FAQ w/answers, in the near future.
