Maintenance Costs?

Hello,

I will most likely lease a Rav4 EV and despite the range limitations I will be pushing the mileage. I was told by the dealer that they want the vehicle in every 5,000 miles for servicing (mostly for a Tesla download and simple maintenance like wiper fluid). The first 25,000 miles is free but I expect to go way over that before the end of the lease.

If I don't go in every 5,000 miles will I be jeopardizing the terms of the lease?

Anyone have any idea how much a routine maintenance visit costs beyond 25,000 miles?

Anyone have maintenance cost experience with a lot of miles on a Rav4 EV?

Toyota cannot require you get servicing done with them. Discount Tire does my tires and I change my washer fluid and cabin filter myself. You might get a brake inspection at some point.

Okay understood but what is required in the manual to be in compliance with the lease (regardless of who does it)? You are saying nothing until a break inspection? How many miles to that?

I probably have the highest mileage Rav4, and I have spent $0 on maintenance.
