For those who don't mind a slower charge, or who can't fit a higher amp charger on their panel, Clipper Creek dropped the price of the LCS-25 100 bucks. I have no financial interest in CC, but have one of these at home that I can plug into my clothes dryer outlet.

I have one and I love it. Like my RAV, I bought them both 2 months before their prices dropped. Grrrrr....

I was wondering about this EVSE... it charges at 20 Amps, right?

Do people who use it have trouble getting it to work with the RAV4 scheduled charging because the RAV4 thinks it is only 120V? There was some mention of this on the Scheduled Charging failure thread.

If you do have trouble, you might want to try plugging the EVSE into the RAV when the car EV system is ON, then turn the car off. I have found that the car then usually displays the time when it will actually start charging.

Yes it charges at a solid 20 Amps so you need a 30 Amp circuit. I gave up on the car time anyway. I am now on a TOU DTEV rate, so I try to only charge between midnite and 6AM when my rate is $0.09per kWhr. I built an external timer for less than $50 which works flawlessly.

It can use a 25 amp circuit.
Yes you can.

I couldn't find any 25 Amp circuit breakers for my panel. I had already pulled #8 wire earlier when I thought I could install a 40 Amp circuit, so I just installed a 30 Amp breaker with oversize wire. The wire size for a 25 or 30 Amp is #10
