I’ve been dealing with the “charging stopped due to ev system malfunction” for a few months now, always just turning the car off and on five/six times and moving on, usually for weeks between incidents. This morning I went out to the driveway to find that the car hadn’t charged, and the terminal for my 240v charger is completely fried. I swapped it out for the OEM 120v charger, and it charges for 2-3 minutes before giving me the 19 plasters and shutting down. No message on the dash about ev system malfunction, though. I’ve only got about 10 miles of range left and Konduit is 30 miles away, but I’m thinking my next move is just to have the thing towed over there. This sounds very similar to what other folks have been experiencing with blown fuses and bad onboard charging units, except for the fried charging cable. Any ideas?
