Hello,
Good evening. Hope you are all doing well.
I am thinking of buying a 2013 RAV4 EV with 66K miles on it. This still has the Traction Battery Warranty (96 months/100K miles). But Basic (36 months/36K miles), Powertrain, Restraint, Corrosion (60 months/60K miles) warranties have expired. I have the following questions.
(1) Is it worth buying this car? The asking price is around $15k. I just love the price and the features of this car.
(2) Is it possible to get extended warranty from Toyota directly and/or any suggestions?
(3) Is it worth getting this inspected by a toyota certified technician (to make sure everything is okay including batteries)
(4) Is there anything else I need to look into?
The car is great shape - one owner, no accidents.
Appreciate your insight and help.
Thanks,
Srini.
