Here's some more trivia for you about the battery. From a good bit of deductive reason by members here on this forum, we have determined that the 2012 RAV4 EV battery pack's full (Tesla) design rated capacity is "48kW", consisting of ~4500 Panasonic NCR18650A Li-ion cells, nominally rated at 3.6Vdc at 2950mA-hrs each. If we use the Panasonic "spec" (3070mA-hrs) for the Li-ion battery rating of each cell, the RAV4 EV battery pack's maximum energy capacity jumps up to a whooping 50kW!
That is one big Mother of an battery!!! :mrgreen:
