2014 RAV4 EV vs. 2015 Model S 70D

Dear Friends,

I'm wondering whether to trade (upgrade?) my 2014 RAV4 EV for a 2015 Model S 70D and would love your thoughts. I know many of you have driven both and hope to benefit from your collective wisdom. Here's a bit of background on each:

2014 RAV4:
64,000 miles
Platinum Warranty up to 100k miles or August 2022
Non-smoker, well-maintained and always garaged.
2nd owner

2015 Model S 70D:
50,000 miles
CPO warranty up to 90k miles or December 2022
Non-smoker vehicle
Premium package, sunroof, subzero package.

Is this trade worth app. $20-25k?!

Needless to say that, depending on the outcome of this poll, my RAV4 may be for sale...

How much for the Model S? I'm assuming $40k or so?

Unless you really want a Model S or a Tesla for some reason, you might want to consider buying new. There's a number of of longer-range cars coming on the market for about $40k this year. You'd get new car with warranties and nice stuff like that.
