Any shops in the San Jose, CA area willing to remove the Jdemo/Chademo

If it’s more cost effective for you, we do the contactor replacement for $2200 with a year warranty. I’ve done many contactor replacements and am well versed when it comes to the procedure. Although shipping the vehicle would come into play and add some cost just thought I’d give you a second...

Any shops in the San Jose, CA area willing to remove the Jdemo/Chademo

Thanks for the shout out. I do have the install manual that could be read from back to front to remove the JdeMO system. But the JdeMO should in no way affect the ability for one of Toyotas techs to pull codes from the port in the rear of the vehicle. Regardless let me know if you want the manual.

    152k miles...no replacements ever made

When talking about charging we would be in the measurement of AMPS not necessarily volts. When charging your battery, whether it be at 20 amps or 40. There will be no change in your electric bill as there is no change in the total amount of energy your battery can store (KWH). So how quickly you...

Pictures from my onboard charger fuse replacement

Hmmm jumping in here to see if I can add some insight. Regardless of whether or not everything is correctly in place “regarding the work you have done at least” the gear selector should allow you to put it into neutral. When you push the “ignition” do you hear the contactors click? The car will...

Any bearing noise? That's a good indicator on whether or not coolant has started migrating through the bearing. Although it would be more likely for the coolant to go through the breather hole in your reluctor chamber, it's still entirely possible for it travel through the bearing. As far as...

    shocks/ struts

Hello, here at Konduit EV we use the KYB struts. The part numbers are KYB 339032 and KYB 339031. These aren't the full assemblies so you will have to remove the shock springs and put them on the new struts. Be careful if you go this route as compressing the spring is dangerous and if done...

    Coolant Delete Light

Hello again! Jacob here with Konduit EV. Just wanted to relay that we have coolant delete lights in stock as of yesterday. As we all know there are multiple different methods to achieve the same results. Such as modifying the existing coolant manifold by cutting the tubing off of the manifold...

Good Morning Alflash. Yes this is the same motor the video with the coolant pouring out of the inverter housing. Oddly enough, the contactors would still click on but would immediately click off and take the car out of ready. Before I drained all of the G48 and saw it coming out of the inverter...

Hey Rakesh! It looks pretty clean, I don't see any rust or corrosion at least in and around the speed sensor hole. I'd advise you not to drive the car as that will only exacerbate the problem and will cause even more coolant intrusion. Get that coolant delete that you have installed immediately...

You are correct, we do not rewind the stator. As you and I know that is a whole different beast, especially when it comes to labor hours. Luckily for us here at Konduit EV, we have a few stators in good health that we can use if a replacement is needed. If stators become scarce then we would...

Hello Alflash, I apologize for the delayed response. I'm stretched thin at the moment but would like to provide those photos I promised you. As expected, just about everything is kaput. The inverter board is corroded beyond repair and the connector board has a small amount of delamination with...

I hear you and know it all too well. Fortunately for me and the "community," through new management and business practices, unprofessionalism is a thing of the past regarding QCC and especially Konduit EV. The reputation of Konduit EV is our everything, and our job is not just to fix EV's but to...

Hello, Rakesh. Bouncing off of what asavage said. It really depends, and without a proper photo of the speed sensor. I wouldn't feel confident giving you an answer. But like the link that asavage provided says. Once coolant gets into the stator half, there is no where for it to go. So even a...
