Probably so, since that is what I paid for my 32A charger in the first place, and of course, a 40A charger is better than 32A. Also, the 40A model has a better way to coil the charging cord around itself and "dock" its J177 output connector.

HomeDepot is also now carrying the 40A Leviton Charger for just over $1k. **Bonus - the occasional coupon from HomeDepot can usually knock an additional 10-15% off and in CA you're going to pay tax if you order from Amazon or locally.

The one you linked is the most expensive AeroVironment unit on Amazon and it's only 30A. The small size and semi-portability are the only good points. Toyota recommends Leviton, so I'm curious how you picked up on that one. Do you offer the AeroVironment bundled financing like I've read about?

Personally, for $50 more, I bought the 40A Leviton unit from Home Depot. Amazon has it for the same $1,099 price as Home Depot. Other 30A or 32A units from GE, Leviton, Siemens routinely go for $850. If I needed a portable Level 2 unit, I would buy the Clipper Creek LCS-25 and make various adapter cables for it. This unit is good because you can safely plug it into any 30A and above circuit you find because it only pulls 20A. The only thing better is an adjustable unit, but it's a little more risky.
