No official recall on the motor. So many of them failed, they probably should have.

I use Glendale Toyota for my service. They have never once mentioned the Jdemo, even during a motor replacement. I've had at least 4-5 visits to them since I had it installed. I think they're either really cool about it or too clueless to know what it is... regardless, they've always done...

They're only adding CHAdeMO because of the dieselgate settlement. They had to provide charging for all vehicles, so one plug for us and a bunch of plugs for the VW EV customers hitting the streets in a year or two. That said, I really like what EA is doing overall. It will soon be possible...
