ALL POSTS - Heater Failed - Service Bulletin TSB 0111-14

Sorry, typo above, it's "after lunch to pick up your Rav4EV". Question, I have been checking on my Rav via enTune and RavCharge. Since the dealer filled up my tank Monday Dec 9 2pm, It showed "Entune range: 123 miles; or RavCharge mile 159 miles". Today, Dec 12 5:23pm, both enTune and...

The Spark is no where in compare to the Rav in any dimensions (space, power, charge rate, navigation, audio). Even the navigation for music is as bad as the Rav. I still haven't figured out how to pause the music. Another sample is that you cannot set a destination address in the Spark. It...

I now have a 2014 SparkEV with SAE Combo socket as a loaner (no cost to me) until my Rav is fixed. L2 charge rate is only 3.3kW (16 amp) :-(

RavCharge, a solution to charge timer and entune woes

That's because I insisted. It took them two days to find a loaner EV for me (good that I have two other EVs). I told them I don't use any fossil, my house has no gas, for example. I told them if there is not a loaner EV they have to put my Rav back to the state when I took it in. I rather...

RavCharge, a solution to charge timer and entune woes

No problem, I am on a outage of Rav4EV as well. My Rav is at the dealer for a cabin heater fix and won't be back until next year (2nd week of January, 2014).

When I checked on the status few hours ago, they told me that one of the part (heater) will not be in until January 6. The DC2DC unit is here. They don't want to change just the DC because it may be damaged by the broken heater. They asked that I leave my Rav there until January 6 (yuck!). I...

    Latest firmware? Tesla-1.3.101, Nav-VB503200, GPS-6/1/13

Just took one of my Rav to the dealer for a fix on cabin heater failure. The technician told me that there is a new FW released that he will install on my Rav. He didn't told me the version number but I know my Rav is at 1.3.62. Therefore the new one should be at least 1.3.62+n. He told me...

    Vampire Power Drain?

My Model S has active thermal battery management while it is OFF. However, the current SW release allows owner to program it to put the Model S in "sleep mode". In sleep mode, there is no thermal battery management.

RavCharge, a solution to charge timer and entune woes

I am used to reading SOC that is 100% base (that is, in this case, 41.7 kWh). For example, when my Rav completes its "normal" charge, I want to see it said 80%. I understand others want to see normal charge as 100%. Is there a way RavCharge would let me ask it to calculate it using 41.7 kWh...

RavCharge, a solution to charge timer and entune woes

That's great!! You are ahead of me. I honestly seldom use public charging, and if I use it, it's opportunity charging where I don't really need the juice. Today I have the need to use public charging because I purposely didn't charge it at home last night. That's a bummer that enTune does...

RavCharge, a solution to charge timer and entune woes

Hi Hi, is there a possibility to pull the ROC (rate of charge) to RavCharge while charging? For example, my car is being charged in a public garage, it is not easy (other than ChargePoint) to find what the EVSE's fed voltage and amperage is ( I can guess but why guess if the information is...

RavCharge, a solution to charge timer and entune woes

On the "unplugged" screen (1st tab, or the default screen when you login) it gives me information "Approximate charge: 9.8 kwh" (very first line). I am curious of how this information (9.8 kWh in this case) is generated. I assume it represents the approximate SOC in kWh.
