Sounds like it is funding other projects. There is no decent business case to make an app for a car with 2600 units, the cost per unit would be very high. The math is easy and only a fraction of owners will be buying the app. Of course it makes sense if you can find takers above the $100 mark.

The RAV is a very inefficient EV comparatively, you can't compare it to a ICE pig that gets 13 MPG. As far as EVs go it's by no means efficient.

You will be buying the same size tire, this is a non issue and if your tire made that much difference in clearance you would have much bigger issues.

It is a different motor and smaller than the model S, could even be the design they may be intending to use on a future Tesla model. They certainly get to test it well.

You may have 14G wire in the wall also. What is your charger make and model?

The braking system on modern EVs takes over when traction is lost during braking since the ABS must take control at this point.

A 2011-12 LEAF has a 3.3kw charger and a 3.8kw load. A 2013-14 model has a 6kw charger (not 6.6) and a 6.6kw load.

The big issue is traction.

I have a LEAF with a QC for three years, used it 2X. Not an issue.
