Leviton 40 amp...you think it's related to the EVSE or "system malfunction" on board the vehicle? Drove it abot 50 miles this AM and it is charging now...so far uneventfully.

have had rav 4 ev 2 days. charged twice with no issues. yesterday after short 15 mile drive, charged car...appeared to be charging correctly. this am went to car, it was fully charged but had error message that said Charing stopped due to system malfunction. Unplugged drove away...error...

I have same issue on interior lights and keyless entry not working. Just got RAV 4 EV 2 days ago. I'm in Pennsylvania. Is this something any Toyota dealer can fix? The interior lights? Hope so.

Just got my RAV 4 EV yesterday. Shipped from San Diego to Lancaster, PA. Was on car carrier truck about 8 days...had "full" (80%) charge when left San Diego. Driven about 1 mile during 8 days to rotate around carrier...arrived with full charge still present. Drove home fine...No issues...

My blizzard pearl RAV 4 EV was picked up in San Diego today from shipping company... Now 7 to 9 days to get out east! Hopefully, no more blizzards in West :? I guess it's a shorter distance than the trucking from Canada to southern CA... We'll see how it goes!

I agree..couldn't find any negative reviews..except that it sounds like charging timers are consistently a problem..in Leaf, my charging timers are flawless...still overall, unless you're going to pony up for the Model S...seems like this is the next best thing out there. Good luck. I'm sure...

Trust me. If you know how to plug in a lap top, you do NOT need to have these designated providers come to your house and charge you an arm and leg. Nissan tried to do same thing. Here is what I'd advise: buy the 40 amp. bottom fed plug (not hardwired) Leviton charger that Toyota recommends...

You should also check with Korinne at Mossy Toyota in San Diego. They have less of a selection, but she was very helpful. Plus, they are all pretty much same trim...except color.

Yeah, I have to do the emissions/inspection in PA as well....if you videotape it, post it...would love to see that!

Put a trickle charger directly on the 12 V battery? So if it's dead, can you just jump start to the 12 V like regular car?

Anyone see a problem with a fully charged RAV 4 EV going for 7-14 days completely unplugged if not driven and temperature 35 degrees and above for transport. May be driven 2-3 miles during the time period for moving on or off transport vehicle.

I looked at all service requirements out to 100k miles. Sounds like basically topping off or replacing coolants, rotating tires, checking brakes for wear, checking to make sure no run-away accelerator Prius mats are in these Rav 4 EVs, and replacing cabin air filter. Checking chassis..It says...
