Oh yeah... that's part of Toyota roadside assistance. We get 3 years with the Rav4EV. Had 3 years with my '12 Prius Plug in as well. 2 years with all other new Toyotas. Must be a plug in sort of thing! :)

I'm not worried... that's what warranty coverage is for. :) I was more pissed off that my schedule this morning was tossed in the crapper. Discovered problem at 8:00 am. Didn't get back from the dealer with loaner until around noon. Tow took almost 2 hours to arrive.

Talked to the service writer (who I have known for 15+ years) around 5 pm and he said the car was charging and would know more in the morning. The service tech has been in touch with both Toyota and Tesla and they are going over the trouble codes that were present.

Where would I have checked the pack voltage? It was showing between 110 and 120 miles per each standard charge.

I used "N" today for the vehicle to be pulled up on the flat bed truck transport to the dealership for the Screen of death - Check EV System message I got this morning. Also I use "N" for going thru the car wash. :)

Yes, that confirms it... the car was turned off and the charge now was initialized. The Entune charge start notification email was sent at 3:42 yesterday afternoon and a charge failure notification email was sent at 5:56 am this morning. You had me wondering for a minuet if I did leave it on...

Yup. I initialized the charge cycle with the "charge now" when you turn it off. Last time I checked around 9 pm it still showed about 6 hours left to charge. Will the charger start with the car turned on?

Temp maybe? I'll leave this for Tony and others more experienced to answer... I have seen more distance per mile (efficiency) while driving on warmer days... in the 80's.

I think you are good. Sometimes my range drops by 6 or 8 miles with Eco High with a full charge and as I get to the bottom of the charge the range will drop by 1 or 2 miles when turning on Eco High. It's how the computer looks at things including your past driving habits. Depending on past...

Toyota does not pass along the 7500 fed credit... they take it from what I understand. The 2500 state money comes back to you in the form of a check. That's why most buy.

Yup Dennis... just went down and unplugged the cord at 8:15. Came up and checked email before leaving and had an Entune notification that charging had been interrupted. Went down and plugged it back in and started charging again. I no doubt interrupted the cell balancing cycle that occurs...

I had the 1st generation from Home Depot. Picked up on sale for $699 last fall and returned when I built a Chris Howell openEVSE for around $400. The Schneider unit looked like a nice unit and worked flawlessly with my Prius plug-in. :)

Mine was pretty weak the other evening... was on eco high (the lowest setting for climate control, I believe) and heat was pretty slow to come out of the vents. Does it matter which setting... eco high, eco low or regular AC for the heat output?
