I would think that 8900 miles would sort of serve as a "burn in" period with regard to some of the failures that have been known to exist. My "Check EV" error message appeared around 1600 mi and resulted in the replacement of the Gateway ECU. My charger failed and was replaced at 4000 mi. So...

Thanks! So what you are saying is to search thru google? I have always used the search button at the top of the forum web page. I'll use the method you describe with this site here.

Not sure what you are trying to say... plugging the above in google just brings me back to this thread. I have used many forum search features over the years and this place has to have the poorest search feature of any I have tried.

I have had the same issue... I think it's the poor search function of this forum software.

Did the same thing... hurt for a bit taking a beating on the 2012 PIPA trade but the trade in price was better than I expected. Miss the radar cruise control but love the pure EV experience! :) Cut my loses and moved on! Welcome!

I had my car plugged in all day a couple days ago and after the 5 or so hours of charging it sent me repeated email notifications of completed charge cycles... 3 total after it finished, about 45 min apart. The car was outside in the sun and it was in the high 70's. Not sure if it was the TMS...

To eliminate a problem with the onboard charger in the car plug in the supplied L1 120V charge cord. If it starts charging your Leviton unit is the culprit. I believe others here have reported problems with Leviton units. They seem to respond to failed units pretty well. :)

My feeling is I want to charge as fast as I can. The good lord gives you a 10kw charger so you use a 10kw charger. :) The Rav4 EV has a bigger battery than the Leaf and Volt so with a discharged battery at 30A you are going to be charging longer... maybe it's not that big a deal if you are...

Good luck. Who is your service advisor? Chris Case is the service manager. Steve Chapman is the general manager. Give either/both a call. Both were very attentive to my concerns and I believe they were doing their best to get my problems resolved. They can only do so much. Again... good luck!

Yeah... I received the check and application back around the first of June with mismatching addresses. The dealership only processed my physical address (at the airport where no mail is delivered) and the PO Box wasn't listed (with DMV). Had to fill out a change of address and send everything...
