Yup Not that it does that every day but will within the normal antics. A couple months ago mine was charging to 167 miles.... as if.

Actually I am consistently amazed how accurate the GOM actually is. Not perfect but how could it know future driving habits and conditions? GOM works very well for me.

I find the GOM generally shows a higher number after a long drive and full normal charge. That is what this thread is about right?

Get your hands on a DC clamp-on ammeter. Start the car and see that voltage jumps up from 12.5 ish to maybe 14 volts to verify the DC/DC converter is working to supply 12v power. Assuming that works out..... turn the car off and monitor the 12v battery discharge in amps. IIRC 3 to 6 amps...

Are you charging in normal mode or extended? Do you let it run mostly run down or do you charge every day? I recommend not charging until you are down to the last 25% (four bars) approximately. At least to see if the number changes a bit. Also use the trip meter to see how many actual miles...

Especially if the dealer offered to pay half I would have them install the new charger. Do this right away before they change their mind. Then sell privately for best price. My dealer has some arrangement with Cars.com and gave me an offer IIRC for about $13k toward a trade in.

Mine did this. Was about 2 amp load that never shut off. Turned out to be the Gateway computer. You need to keep it on a charger or start pulling 12v fuses until the drain stops. Get it into the dealer asap. BTW Carson Toyota would not work on my car with the larger Bosch battery. They...
