My car was finished yesterday. They only replaced the heater, no other parts. Heater now works great. It was at the dealer from Jan 7 to Feb 10.

My heater doesn't work, so I took it to my local dealer. They called back in about 90 minutes, said they couldn't work on it. I called Toyota customer care, they seem reasonable, and willing to help. That was 1 week ago. The dealer called Saturday, and wants the loaner car back. We shall see...

Still haven't got anything definite from corporate yet, they seem to be helpful though. Dealer wanted me to bring the loaner car back on Saturday, I told them I wanted to wait to see what the rep had to say before I took the loaner back.

It is getting fairly annoying with no heat. I wonder if I would be able to talk the dealer into not taking the car all the way apart to diagnose. Tried resetting the computer, issue persists.

Tried with ac off for 30 minutes, still no heat. Maybe I'll stop by a dealer. Does anyone think that disconnecting the negative battery terminal to reset the computer might help?

I turned a/c off, temp set to 85, but aux power draw never gets above 1.5kw. I assume that's not enough power for the heater, and that's why it's not heating.

Did you ever find a resolution? It's started to get a bit chilly, and still have no heater. The Aux power consumption never goes above 1kw while heater is on, but the GOM drops about 30 miles. That range is not lost of course, but it's as if it's registering that heater is turned on. Not a...
