IMO, the incandescent license plate lights look sad. Even more so when one of them burns out. I've tried the plug-in LED 194 type replacement bulbs. They look good, until they start flickering and/or burn out. The incandescence are more reliable, but look dated.
I thought I'd try adapting a set of these OEM Tesla LED Model 3 license plate lights.
With some creative Dremeling ...
And some two part plastics epoxy, they are a perfect fit.
