I have a Leviton EVB40 that now gives me a fault light about 90% of the time when I try to charge either my Leaf or my RAV4. I have since replaced it. I will be giving this away to any member here along with a emotorwerks WattBox 200 to anyone who wants it AS IS. Local pick up in the LA area...
Wow, that was really cool to watch. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing new videos about the RAV4 EV well after the initial few introductions of it. Sucks about the water damage on that battery though.
The Nav is $4000? That's crazy. This guy is selling one for $325.

I'd like to do the homelink tap one day, but my soldering kung fu could use some work. In the meantime, I bought a dual-USB charger for the power supply/cig. outlet. I use it to charge my iPhone anyway. With the spare port, I ran a 15 foot USB cable under the glovebox, up the passenger side...
What usually happens after sending it to Service is that the techs take the RAV out for a test drive. More often then not, they like to drive it sportier than what you may be used to, which will mess up the range indicator for about a week. When you establish your regular driving pattern again...
I definitely hear the "clunk" after taking my foot off the pedal. Most pronounced when accelerating from a stop but I cm still hear it faintly on subsequent acceleration.
The clunk is louder on some days then others. Not sure what is causing that.
Wow Tony... At first, I was wondering how did you find the time to be Chieve EV officer for Oregon AND get a position over at PlugShare? I thought congratulations were in order! But then I read the bottom and I realized that you and ALL of us are much better off doing what you do best.
Assuming the recall does not introduce newer problems, I hope Toyota/Tesla does us all a solid and permanently fixes whatever is causing the gearbox noise when they eventually get around to the recall (hopefully, a motor swap in addition to any software fix). fromport has the exact same noise...
The update worked today for whatever reason. The communication error message still came up. However, this time, the apps actually updated. Can't understand why it worked this time and not yesterday.
Just got some Ecopias myself after running over both a nail AND a flat razor on the same tire at 28k miles. Costco did not have any Michelins in stock. So far, the Ecopias are much better (quieter and smoother, better grip) than the OEM tires.
Forgot to mention that I'm attempting to update using an iPhone 5s on iOS 8.2. davewill, what smartphone are you using? not sure if it matters. Also, USB updating failed for me. Looks like the update is received via Bluetooth only.
Probably not related with any Entune OTA commands, but the Entune app was updated today for iOS and Android devices.
It completely broke my Apps button (which I never use anyway). When you run the app on your smartphone and press the Apps button on your vehicle, a message will say "there is a...
