Toyota has posted that the "Shift To Neutral" recall issue now has a remedy. Owners will get notification in postal mail "in September". The remedy is a software update and will be provided "free of charge" (like Toyota had a choice).
"Toyota dealers will update the drive inverter ECU software."

My Rav4EV has been sidelined for 8 weeks at Toyota Palo Alto. I hope to work with Toyota to regain my previous level of customer satisfaction. We'll see.
