Thanks for posting those docs. Those all said by the end of April a letter would be going out. So much for that. What I thought most interesting according to one of those five documents is that there are 6 unsold Rav4s - four at one dealer. They can't be sold - they have to be fixed first...

FWIW, I'm at Oxnard Toyota for the 10K. They mentioned the recall and said they didn't have any information on it yet. The Service Manager volunteered that Toyota is considering a mass buyback. One guy at one small dealership doesn't make so, but maybe it shows the frustration Toyota is having.

When we got ours last July, it stopped working after about a week. The Leviton guys in San Diego were great. UPSed down on a Monday and got it back on Wednesday. It's worked like a champ since. And I love those NY wise guy accents when you call them back east.

Saw pricing from different vendors from $699 to $860. Not sure how current the pricing is. Got to hate that green casing color but if it works, I can live with that. The price on the other hand. You could have a few lead acids for that price point.

Saw a pristine white one turning north onto Spring street at High St. In Moorpark today at 4:45 pm. I don't think I've seen the same one twice yet. Ventura county seems to have its fair share.
