I'm considering the same thing for my 4.7kW system (SunnyBoy/Sanyo). Midnite Solar is going to be introducing a pre-wired panel specifically for SMA inverters, integrating the Sunny Island off grid inverter with all of the bits to make it code compliant. I doubt it will be the cheapest solution...

Dsinned, The EVSE is behind the library - 1044 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. Plugshare shows it nicely, though it's currently listed as unavailable. I've used it for my LEAF in the past... Jay (new member pondering purchase)
