I would like to know more about “Toyota's price for a reman LDU exceeds the value of the car.” Nationwide search on car gurus has them ranging from $8k-$11k. Is the motor really that much? My last motor replacement was $6300 with the labor and parts a couple years ago.

5 years or 60k mi. All are more than 9 years now.

Call QCCharge. They might have a solution and they’re in San Diego county. I recently saw a YT video that featured a mechanic describing battery repair options in their shop for a model S battery, I think. Maybe they can work on ours too.

67k miles original owner moved to North Carolina. 85% original battery capacity. 2 motor changes and now the drive shaft clunking. Also found my white paint peeling under the roof rack mount. Toyota platinum warranty good thru 2027. Waiting/hoping for something normal-looking to replace it...

Did you fix the problem? When I have trouble I open the fuse box in the front and remove the 5A charger and replace and reattempt. I think the CHAdeMO 3.0 found at the newer EVGo stations where the plug is on the front is incompatible with JDeMO.
