I believe Troy told me you have to be a resident from MA or CT to buy extended warranty from him. I guess you just have to have a dealer to sell you in IL or have a family member in MA

Ask for the supervisor with Toyota care and they will approve a longer tow

Lucky I have the extended warranty. $550 for the service plug, $450 for labor (3 hours) and $250 for rental car, $85 for the tow? I am almost breakeven on my extended warranty. I paid $1250 for the 7/125

If you can swing it, the Model X is as close as it gets. I bought mine off lease, even though I could have gotten one cheaper by 2-3K. It's being used as a beater/truck for us

Toyota said they found the problem to be some sort of Toyota to Tesla plug. I am not sure what it means exactly. It's suppose to be an easy fix
